All of our guides are hand-picked form one of three training classes held each year. When you raft in the Smoky Mountains with us on the Upper Pigeon or the Lower Pigeon in one of our funyaks, you can be assured that the quality of your trip is our top priority. Just bring a change of clothes and get ready to get wet! We at Smoky Mountain Outdoors will provide all the equipment you need. We recommend that you wear tennis shoes (or sandals w/ a strap), shorts, and a t-shirt or bathing suits. NO FLIP-FLOPS! Shoes must be secured to your feet. When you arrive, after signing a liability waiver, we will brief you on safety then your white water rafting adventure will begin with our experienced guides down the Pigeon River!
